【Working Principles of Air Compressor】
The traditional air compressor uses maximum and minimum pressure inspection of the system to control the motor of the compressor. Its disadvantage is that, since its starting current is 6 to 8 times of the rated current, the electric grid and the mechanical load has to bear huge impact as the motor starts and the motor and the electromagnetic switch are likely to be burned. This is why the air compressor is in no-load operation for a long time as the pressure decreases.

Based on the principles of air compressor, we may understand that the air consumption of the users has been changed as the air compressing system operates. The motor of the compressor has been in the mode of operation. When compressing (the pressure of air storage tank rises from lower pressure to the set maximum of the system), the motor of the compressor operates with light load. The operation status of the compressor’s motor is adjusted by the gas admittance valve, exhaust valve and air escape valve of the air compressor.

  1. Load and Unload: 8 to 22 percent of energy-saving benefits
  2. Inlet Valve (adjusting the air admission): About 30 percent of energy-saving benefits
  3. Frequency Control (Changing the motor’s revolution): About 20 to 50 percent of energy-saving benefits

4.Analysis of Energy-saving Module
  1. Saving 30 to 70 percent of power charges, which means that the investment amount might return within a year
